Memphis, TN – May 10, 2008 – There are car shows and motorcycle shows and then there is the Mother of the two, The Big M Motorfest. The Big M Motorfest will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2008, On Mud Island River Park, in Memphis Tennessee and is presented by Cruzin South Magazine, www.cruzinsouth.com. Memphis will again have more reasons to brag about our Memphis in May title!
Just five years ago the tradition of the BIG M Motorfest began. Teaming up this year with many great businesses, the event will be even bigger and better. This event is free to spectators and has an admission of $20 for Car and Bike Show Entries. Entries will receive a goody bag including a t-shirt. Mud Island is offering a Big M special of a monorail ride to the island and entry into the museum for the great price of $5.
The Motorfest is an event that will feature an open car, motorcycle and boat show with entries competing for trophies and the ever popular, winner recognition. This event will be covered and proudly showcased in June’s issue of Cruzin South Magazine. Of course this event will be family oriented and done with Southern Style. A wide variety of vendor booths, from car accessories to jewelry, will be there for everyone to shop. The Music and Dj line up will be announced in the April Issue.
This is a must see for the whole family and an event that will put Mud Island in the spotlight for the month of May!

4th Annual BIG M Motorfest
What a great day! This was by far the BEST ever, thanks to Rod Shop of Memphis and all of our other sponsors. All of the cars were spectacular. You know when you put one of these events on, you never know how it is going to turn out, you just have to work hard, be detail oriented and hope for the best. God always has taken care of us on this day, and well, we did it. Everyone loved it, no complaints, no problems, flawless! We wrapped it up just in time for a little shower to cool everything off. There were so many great rides-over 250, great music, plenty to do for the kids-Event Outfitters kept them busy and full of snow cones, and just a great day! The Cruzin South Girls, Beth Ann, Autumn and our June, Lee Ann Bynum, signed autographs, took upteen pictures and just made the whole day better and more exciting. Thanks to so many for their hard work. From checking in on Friday nite to an all day Saturday, I really appreciate everyone’s support. A special thanks to the CMA for their help with parking everyone, and MSRA for the great entertainment and races. Sit back and look at just some of the gorgeous rides we had there.
